I am not a huge fan of winter. I prefer warm weather that allows me to wear dresses. Cus sometimes adding that extra layer can really ruin an entire outfit!
In Wellington it is essential to have a good coat, or actually several, cus realistically, you may never even get to take it off! Sometimes even in doors it is jacket weather.

This winter think faux fur, chunky knits and layers. Think contrasting textures: knit and pleather. Select warm feature colours to of set the tones of grey and black. Hug warm in wrap blankets and team monochrome tunics with combat boots.
And of course, chase the cold away by wearing the brightest lippy you own!
